You have 10 months from your original date of enrollment (purchase) to complete your coursework to obtain a DE964 to obtain your State of Texas Drivers License. |

What is the timeline to complete the course? |
|
A minimum of 76 hours of actual instruction time is required to complete the driver education course.
There are some requirements to keep in mind:
- The 'Classroom' thirty-two (32) hours must not be completed in fewer than sixteen calendar days.
- The 'Behind-the-Wheel' fourteen (14) hours plus the additional 30 hours of driving practice must not be completed in fewer than forty-four calendar days.
- Prior to taking the Driving Test the student must watch a 2-hour ITTD video. Upon completion, the student will receive a dated certificate. This certificate is valid for 90 days to pass the driving test and receive a Texas Drivers License. If the ITTD certificate expires, the student must view the ITTD video to obtain another 90 day period of time.
