If a parent is inelligible to teach drivers education ...

Another person can be designated to teach the course.

You must first download the following TX TDLR form, read the instructions, fill it out, and register it with the proper authorities. You DO NOT have to call TDLR and change the name on your parent taught packet. All you need to do is fill out the form from TDLR titled "Parent Taught Driver Education Designation Form." The link below:
