Account Types

Can Parents create an INSTRUCTOR account?

Yes. If you are going to have multiple students taking the course, you can establish an instructor account.

The process to have an INSTRUCTOR type account is slightly more complex. More complexity can often lead to more confusion. If you only need one Texas DE-964, set up a Parent/Child account.

If a parent does create an INSTRUCTOR account, then the automatic order of what follows is this:

Register INSTRUCTOR account
Register STUDENT account and select COURSE (in the same registration step)
You will be taken to the Shopping Cart & Pay

At some time in the future, the parent (while logged into the system) can then add another student (that was previously too young) to their account by clicking the ADD STUDENT link in the left-hand navigation panel that is available to them.
